When The Sky Speaks to me, I listen!
There are many days we go through life just living. But then there are days we are drawn to and focused on something that we can not explain.
As a photographer I have always been drawn to the sky! I am sure it is god speaking to me, and my lens has to capture what I am seeing.
I remember many times having been mesmerized by the sky like the photo above. We were out on the water and I was just in awe of the sky. No one else around me paid much attention to it except fear that it was about to storm. But for me it was so mystical, and godly! I could not help but take some photos.
And if you have ever taken a photo on a moving boat, you know that is no easy task. lol
All kidding aside. The sky speaks to me in so many ways!! I believe it is one of my many connections with god.
There are crazy moments as well. ( As if taking pictures on a moving boat already wasn’t). Like the time when I was driving and the sky was just like a magnet to my eyes. I could not help but pull over and take a photo. If anyone was in the car with me they probably would have though I was crazy, but I had to get the shot. I was on a bridge at the time and there was no where to pull over so since there were no cars I just stopped my car right in the road and snapped the picture.
I am not sure if it is just me wanting to capture the memory of how the sky at that particular moment made me feel or, is because I want the world too see what I am seeing.
Don’t hesitate to stop and look up! There is majestic beauty in our skies we just have to pay attention!!
