What in the world is going on in Social Media!
So much is happening in this world now days that it is hard not to get caught up in it on Social Media. It is everywhere. It has changed what people are seeking out on Social which leaves marketers struggling.
I know you have seen it. You create this amazing piece of content just to get a fraction of the views you used to.
You go stalk some of the bigger influencers just to see they are having the same issue. Oh sure there are a few that no matter what they are going to get the traffic, but those numbers are slowly decreasing.
So what do we do?

As a social media marketer myself I have also had to also make some changes.
1. First thing is stop posting so much!!!
I get it!! You just have so much to share and some times you can get impatient but stop competing with yourself and everything else that is out there. There is so much information that it may take a while for people to see yours if at all. Go love on everyone else and eventually they will see yours.
2. Utilize Stories!
Most platforms now have stories or highlights. Utilize these. Get creative and don’t be afraid to experiment with new and different types of content.
3. Speaking of Different, why not try a new platform!!!
Now I am not talking about just posting a day or two and think you are going to go viral. Unfortunately my dear it does not work that way. Dive into it, see what it has to offer. Give a go for a bit and apply similiar content, and techniques you have been doing on your favorite platform. You never know it might just surprise you.
4. Don’t take it personal !!!
Look there is just so much going on, do not take it personal. I have seen some beat themselves up thinking they are doing something wrong or their content is not good and they quit!! Not do that! Think about yourself, you habits, how may times a day do you go check to see if the world is still mad? Your followers are no different so be patient.
I know these are not social media tips that many are used to, but it’s real talk, and that is something I always try to do. You will never hear or see me BS something just to get a new follower or fan. We live in a messed up world right now and it is going to be a while before things get better. In the mean time why not take a few moments to learn something new like how to take better images for your marketing.
