“Don’t put all your eggs in one basket”
“Don’t put all your eggs in one basket” is one of the most popular proverbs in the English language but for some reason social media marketers forget this old wise bit of advise.
I had several recent conversations lately and to my surprise many rely solely on Facebook to market their business and build their network. They forget this amazing proverb.
When you sit down to create content pause, and think about how you can cross pollinate that content to other platforms.
Does it sound familiar? I get it!! Many of us spend way to much time on Facebook but the reality is your market is everywhere. I used to put most of my focus on Facebook until the past few years. Then I was put in Facebook Jail, maybe you have been yourself a time or two. You feel disconnected, you feel like your business just came to a halt, yes? YA that is not a good feeling. It was after the first time that this happened I realized how much I was depending on that one Network to grow my business.
I want to share with you a few things that I do that might help you as well.
