๐ฟ Finding Purpose Again in the Middle of Caregiving Life
ย
I wrote Interrupted Dreams, Unshakable Purpose for women who give their all โ yet forget who they are. This week on the blog, Iโm sharing more about finding purpose again in the middle of caregiving life.
I just came in from my greenhouse, and now Iโm sitting here writing this. I am most myself when my hands are dirty, and my plants are singing. But my purpose didnโt come easy โ it came with a lot of tears, frustrations, and even depression.
For a long time, I asked myself, What is left in this life for me?
I prayed hard, and eventually, God showed me the answer.
Itโs easy to lose ourselves in our caregiving responsibilities. I spent two hours this morning making phone calls and now have another two hours before a therapist arrives. I could have sat down and watched TV or cleaned the house โ but instead, I chose to do something for me and for my purpose in between those responsibilities.
โจ Redeeming the Little Moments
Itโs not about having more time; itโs about using the time you have in ways that truly work. I talk about this in my book, Interrupted Dreams, Unshakable Purpose. I call them Pockets of Time โ those small, sacred moments you can use wisely, whenever and wherever you find them. Everything else will begin to fall into place.
When I first found my purpose in helping caregivers rediscover their passions, I created the Pockets of Time Ebook โ a simple, affordable guide to help you see where you can find those tiny moments in the midst of your chaos.

Iโm here to tell you, my friend โ your purpose and your passions are just as important as the people you care for. When you feel fulfilled and at peace, that energy flows back into your caregiving.
Even the smallest seed of purpose can bloom again when itโs watered with faith and time. ๐ฑ
You deserve that. ๐
