A Quiet Reflection as We Step Into 2026
It’s hard to believe it’s already 2026.
Seriously — where does the time go?
The end of the year is always a season of reflection for me. Is it for you too?
This past year turned out to be one of transformation — even though, going into it, I truly didn’t know what it would hold. I knew my job was coming to an end. I knew, as always, my caregiver role wouldn’t pause or slow down. That part of my life never does.
But the biggest question I carried with me was this: What about me?
What would this year bring for me?
Honestly… I didn’t know.
And I surprised myself.
In the middle of uncertainty, I launched two successful books. I made the decision to rebrand myself and my businesses, bringing everything together under one clear, intentional umbrella. No more juggling a gazillion separate brands and directions — just one cohesive space that reflects who I am, what I believe in, and how I want to serve.
That shift alone changed everything.
It’s easier on my already full, caregiver-heavy life — and it’s clearer for those who come here looking not just for inspiration or guidance, but for real connection and friendship.
Looking back now, I can see that 2025 was a foundation year. A year of laying groundwork, learning hard lessons, and choosing alignment over chaos. And it’s been a very long time since I’ve felt this excited about what’s ahead.
As I step into 2026, I’m hopeful and energized — with plans to launch another book, explore a new avenue for my photography, and create a course designed specifically for caregivers who want to build something of their own, in a way that actually fits their lives.
No hustle.
No burnout.
Just purpose, creativity, and faith-led growth.
As this year comes to a close, I’m reminding myself that growth doesn’t always look loud or polished. Sometimes it looks like quiet courage, small steps, and choosing not to give up on yourself.
If you’re stepping into 2026 unsure, tired, or still finding your footing — know this: you’re allowed to grow at your own pace.
I’ll be doing the same.
This reflection is part of a much bigger story — one that many caregivers quietly carry.
If you’re in a season of rebuilding, dreaming again, or wondering how to honor both responsibility and creativity, I’ve created two resources to walk alongside you:
Caregiver to Creator — a practical, encouraging guide for caregivers who want to build something of their own without hustle or burnout.
Interrupted Dreams, Unshakable Purpose — a faith-centered reflection on caregiving, resilience, and finding meaning when life doesn’t go as planned.
Both were written from lived experience — not theory — and designed to meet you right where you are.
