So I get asked a lot what workouts do I recommend with Team Beachbody so I thought I would put together a much overdue review of the workouts programs that I have done!

When I first started with Beachbody I started with PiYo! I love PiYo!! Chalene Johnson the creator of Piyo has always been such an inspiration to me as a fitness guru and an entrepreneur. When I first saw this advertised It caught my interest but never thought I would ever try it. But I did!!! It was a real challenge at first, and I have to say unless you have done a lot of fitness before It will be a challenge! It is very fast past, and very hard to keep up with!! HOWEVER; I love it!!! After doing PiYo my first month even though it was very difficult I began to see changes. Because I had suffered with Fibromyalgia, and circulation issues I had seen that a lot of my symptoms had subsided! Now I still have a challenge with some of the workouts but after 8 months of working out to a Beachbody program in one way or another, I now have the strength to do the workouts without modifications and keep up. Again I want to make this clear!!! This is an amazing program, it really helps with flexibility and strength. I do feel though that it is a challenge for someone just starting out with fitness but I recommend it for anyone that suffers with any form of Arthritis, Auto Immune disorders, or are really needing to build flexibility! Now what really kickstarted by transformation was the fantastic ever popular 21 Day Fix by the lovely Autumn Calabrese!! With 21 Day Fix it gives you an understanding of how important nutrition is and helps you understand the fundamentals to living a healthier life. 21 Day Fix is the program I recommend to anyone just starting out!!! The workouts are designed so that anyone can do them at ANY AGE!!! The workouts are all 30 mins or less, who doesn’t have 30 mins!!! The key to this fantastic program is the portion control system!!! The Masters Hammer and Chisel!!! Oh what can I say about his program!!!! This program has been a game changer for me!!!
So when I began this program I had my nutrition under control by doing multiple rounds of the 21 Day fix, drinking my Shakeology, and living a healthier lifestyle. I was not real sure what I was getting myself into but I could not resist giving it a try!! Now I have not done any type of weight training for about 25+ years. Being that I am 50 years old I was not real sure if this old girl could take it! But let me tell you……… The way this program is designed anyone can do it!! Each program gives you options to modify when needed! If you don’t have the exact equipment, not a problem they show you what to do. The meal plan was simple to follow and it really blew my mind!! This is a 60 day program that is designed to build muscle and endurance! During the first month it is really hard! A lot of people get discouraged myself included because you begin to retain water to protect your muscles, you are sore as Sh*#*# , and you begin to doubt yourself. But……. if you stick with it by month two you begin to feel better, you are able to increase weights, and you are able to do more because you are stronger!!! This is a program that is great if you are try to get stronger, build some muscle, tone up, and loose inches!!! I lost many inches and saw amazing results with definition on the Masters Hammer and Chisel. I will be doing this one again for sure!!!!!
